Fishing at the Hot Springs takes a bit of patience and a bit of luck, darn near like the real thing.

Using the nicely placed cushions laid about the area, one finds a fishing spot where you can make it into a Fishing Cushion, by using F3 when you're sitting at a Fishing Spot. When a fish comes up within 2 spaces of where your line meets the water, you use F3 to jiggle the line, this may or may not draw the fish to your line, it takes a couple of seconds for the fish to decided whether or not to check the bait. If the fish does decide to check the bait, and comes over to your line, you then use F3 to try and land the fish. If you succeed, you will be awarded with a fish. If not, oh well, the fish runs away and you just wait patiently for another one to surface nearby. Walking away from the fish replaces it with a red cushion, likewise will picking the fish up and dropping it. If you pick up the fish and wander elsewhere in the springs, you can leave your trophy's lurking around for a bit, something will come along and eat the fish sooner or later.
